To paraphrase a trailer for this film:
Have you ever been happily driving down the road you know, the long straight road of life, and suddenly you take a DETOUR and are on a road you are not familiar with and has an unknown destination. A dame, a tomato. She seems so right at first but turns out she couldn’t be more wrong. But you’ve taken a DETOUR in your life you see, and that DETOUR leads to a DEAD END.
Anyway, it is a great B-grade fim noir.
