2011 Blog Summary

So I got my 2011 blog summary for “Matthew’s Island of Misfit Toys” from WordPress and they said:

The site was viewed 51,000 times in the last year, not including my visits. The busiest single day had a whopping 1,250 visitors. In the last few months the site has been averaging around 400 visits per day. Visitors came from (in order of number): USA, United Kingdom, Canada (pick up the slack, hosers!), Australia, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, and Russia.  Hope you enjoyed your visits and that y’all come back sometime! Thanks – Merci  – Danke – Gracias – Grazie!

I posted 1,700 separate entries, but each entry had anywhere from 1 to 20 images so the total number of images posted was a lot more than 1,700. The most viewed entries were the “Bitch, please!” entries, the “Hello Kitty Guns” entries, the “Krampus” entries (so glad to be your Satan children-abducting headquarters!), “When Sharks Attack” entries, the “Pulp Art” entries, and the “Myrna Loy” entries.

I’m looking forward to dazzling you with many more posts in the new year. I have thousands of images in a file for eventual posting – if only I had the time/patience! I may have to abandon the practice of having each post link or segue into the next one by some common theme since finding “compatible” images in my huge file is what takes so long. So I may go to random but more numerous postings in the future.

Disclaimer: I do not own the copyright to almost all of the images I post. They are found on the internet so I assume they are basically in the public domain. If you own an image and don’t want it posted here let me know and I’ll delete it. If I know who made an image I give them their due credit. If you’d like credit for an image you created or own by all means let me know and I’ll do it. I do not make any money from this site directly or indirectly and there are no advertisements. I gather images from so many sites that I couldn’t possibly remember where I got what so giving credit to the source is nearly impossible. In any case, these images are bounced around to and from so many sites that, even if I did remember where they came from, they most likely did not create or scan them themselves either. I would love to give names of some of the many sites I visit and gather images from but some of them have nude men or women on them too and this blog doesn’t post images of nudes or links to pages with nudes – there’s enough of that already out there.

Have a Happy 2012!
