I think you’re right. After posting that I guessed Paris it dawned on me that putting statues of horses on top of buildings was more of a Prussian or Austrian-Hungarian kind of thing to do. Too vulgar for Paris.
I’m fairly certain it’s the vienna state opera house.
OK, I got off my ass and “did a google”… and confirmed it is indeed the Vienna State Opera House. I would’ve searched for it before posting but I had no idea which city it was in. Thanks for both of you who let me/us know!
