So… I’ve been asked if I will be supporting Team Canada or Team USA in the Winter Olympics. And here’s the answer: For Men’s Hockey: Team Canada all the way, baby! Because some of my favourite players are on the Canadian team. As far as anything else goes – I’m supporting whatever athlete/team shows the most amazing talent, sportsmanship, and performance. So I’m supporting excellence rather than any one nation/team. As far as the whole controversy over Putin’s draconian gay discrimination law, I’ll address that at another time.
