Yes, you would have Cypripediums where you are. Most commonly pink or yellow. They are very hard to transplant. The top and bottom flowers are now called Paphiopedilums, from Asia, and the left and right flowers are Phragmipediums, from South America. Most Paphs are relatively easy to grow. Phrags are a little more delicate.
