That’s The Cliff House in San Francisco. That particular structure burned down and several more were built to replace it over the years. It was one of my absolute favorite restaurants to go to. But the latest version of it is horrible. The tore out all the old, lovely wood and velvet carpets and turned it into a cement and glass fern bar. I can’t go there anymore because it breaks my heart.

Yeah, I thought I recalled that the was the name of it but I wasn’t sure. Which part of San Francisco is this in?
It’s out on The Great Highway, pretty much sandwiched in between the old Sutro Baths and where Playland at the Beach used to be.
