That reminds me – sometime so I’m going to be doing a couple of entries on (golden era) stars I think are over-rated and ones that were under-appreciated. Add Joan Blondell to the list of ones who didn’t get the attention they deserved. Reply

She’s looks so full of hope, love, expectation. I’ve seen that film, I liked it!
I think she is wonderful. Incredible that she never became a top star.
