It was supposedly set in Maine but the scenes up at the lake and then, later, on the ocean all looked like California to me.

So, yes, I really am a lumberjack – at least from November to April. But it’s cutting trees, large and small, for landscape purposes. Like clearing fields, clearing views of the ocean etc., clearing for new construction or new landscape design, clearing trees that are likely to fall on houses, etc. I don’t do massive clearcuts for pulp/paper. I use a chainsaw – and don’t even own an axe. Besides you should use a maul to split wood, not an axe like this guy is using. Though much of the wood from the trees I cut each winter end up as firewood I don’t offer wood splitting services.
