I know it’s from the late 1930s but I forget the name of it and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. You know, Daniel, every time I see a Bette Davis GIF or see some of her dialog quoted I don’t hear her voice – I hear your raspy impersonation of her voice instead.
You must see it–not typical Bette and I am not at all a Richard Travis fan, but it is still charming, AND as Dan said, the story around it all is rather delicious.
Just hadmmy annual viewing of this. I adore the back story and on all the people on which it’s based.

The Man Who Came to Dinner. Most of the characters are based on real celebrities that were in the NY scene. It’s Bette’s attempt at romantic comedy.

Hi Guy! I’m sure I’ll see it or make a point of seeing it this winter.
