I’ve been reading up on George V and found not even a whiff of rumour that he had any gay dalliances. However, whilst a teenager he and his brother (who was rumoured to be bisexual) were under the supervision of a tutor who’s best friend happened to be gay.The tutor chaperoned the 2 boys in naval school and upon the ships they were posted on. Only one young man was allowed to socialize with them. One can only imagine what might have happened behind closed doors amongst these 4 gentlemen, 3 of whom were frisky young men who had no access to women aboard the naval ships.
