I know I posted this picture before but it is, for me, the most poignant photo of the end of WWII in Europe. The picture shows a trainload of Jews and others being sent to a concentration camp for extermination being stopped in the middle of nowhere and released once the news of the war had ended. The looks on their faces at their sudden change in fate says it all.
