I did know that it wasn’t an actual gay love scene, just two war buddies in a dramatic moment before one of them died. As a side note though, it has been my experience on many an occasion that it is not even a hop, skip, and jump away – it’s just a skip or two – from a straight acquaintance or friend saying “I love you, little buddy” to full man-on-man action. In the case of this movie that was never even in the cards since one of them was dying/died and there probably never would have been a kiss if he weren’t dying.
I remember this movie – I know the plot and everything but I forgot the name of it.
