Learn something new every day… Did a quick look-up on Rudolf here and it’s an interesting, if tragic, story. Seems he and his younger-girlfriend-from-another-religion were forced to break up by his royal parents and instead the couple agreed to die together by Rudolf’s hand. Kind of like Romeo n’ Juliet. Had he lived, he would’ve gone on to be Emperor of the soon to be deceased Austrian-Hungarian Empire (The House of Hapsburg).
