A fur coat store was closing and as I passed it everyday, I noticed there was a wall of Blackgama posters. I went in to ask if they were available and the staff person said sure. I guess I gushed with too much girlish glee for the owner stopped and tersely said “You can have ONE!” I chose the Lena Horne.
Great choice! I vaguely remember these ads running in magazines for several years when I was a kid. But that would’ve been the 70s not the 60s. Anyway, if I had to choose only one it would be (drumroll): Marlene Dietrich.
