I just read about this – The King of Denmark would go riding on horseback every morning through the streets of Nazi-occupied Copenhagen during WWII – saluting his people in a silent act of defiance to the occupation. On top of that, he rode alone – without any guards. Eventually he got ill and died but this simple and brave act went on every day for several years no matter what the weather or temperature was like.

If these start popping up in Washington DC this summer I won’t be a bit surprised.
