Dear Matt, greetings from Paris !
A few days before my total deconnexion, I offer two interesting pics out of the greenbox:
About Paris: some vintage public urinals in 1865 Paris:

Most of are now replaced since the mid 80’s by the ugly (and dangerous) Decaux ones. Notice also that the term “Water Closet” was already in common use in French. A fact I throught late. In fact, France and England, were allies since the demise of Napoleon in fact and both countries have a long and lively destiny to say the least…
Franck, Thanks for the links. I’ll check them out soon. What is this “deconnexion” you are talking about – a vacation or are you unplugging from the internet forever?
Oh sorry, I disconnect just for two weeks of my vacation, as I dont have smartphone and dont bring any computer with me ! I comme back online in the second half of september.
best.
Franck.
Have a great vacation! The world may completely change in the next 2 weeks for all we know but you can catch up when you return. I don’t own a smartphone either – I live and work on an island and cell phone service out here is not very good so I don’t bother with it.
