Nice pic and what an extraordinary adventure. The gold rush madness was so strong that it crossed the Atlantic hit France, especially Paris where in the 1830s and 1840s gold rush oufits popped up around the Bourse de Paris, the Palais Brongniard, were the stock exchange was established. What a delusion it must have been.
