Although I’ve always believed that Israel has a right to exist that belief has worn thin because they continue to treat the Palestinians as subhumans instead of co-equal peoples who have just as much right to a homeland as the Jews. The massacre of Palestinians by Israeli forces yesterday and Israeli claims to be the sole owner of Jerusalem should make Israel subject to sanctions, embargo, and isolation. It won’t though. Nothing will ever change as long as Western nations continue to unequivocally support Israel and the Israeli occupation of Palestine and as long as both Israelis and Palestinians continue to elect the most extreme & violent politicians to represent them (Netanyahu vs Hamas/Hezbollah).
