Yeah, not going to happen again. I am getting more confident that the far-right movement in the US and elsewhere is going to be sent scurrying back to the dark corners like the cockroaches they are in the near future. Trump may have opened Pandora’s Box but the forces of good far outnumber the forces of evil, hate, and bigotry.

Right you are, Matthew! As sickening as Trump is, with his narcissism, ineptitude and admiration of authoritarian rule, our country is far too good and far too strong to give in to him. Most all the problems that he has caused will be corrected when we get a decent president into the White House and a Congress that does not continuously sit on its hands in dereliction of its duties to function as a check and balance on Trump’s appalling lack of good leadership.
The next 3 – 12 months are going to be doozies, ones for the history books. I think this Trump regime is going to all come unraveled. Obviously that’s my hope but we’ll see. They won’t go out quietly and without doing damage. Some of the damage can be undone by a more progressive congress and nation. Some things can’t be undone (Gorsuch on the Supreme Court or the fact the US won’t be getting some of China’s & Europe’s business back after the Trade Wars because they’ve now permanently switched to purchasing from other nations). There will be some lasting effects. But I do feel a change is coming, in a big way. I live in a very liberal town so I may be in a bubble, but it seems a lot of the US has had enough. Dump the Trump and move on!
