Notice the infamous motto of the KL: “arbeit nacht frei”: “work makes free”… I did not visit the place but have relatives who died in one of those camps, I will forever fight those nazillons (small nazis in french). The great Simone Veil who now rests in the Panthéon, in Paris, survived to Auchswitz.
