Although I forgot the name of this guy there was an interesting story about him wherever I found these photos. He got shipwrecked in what is now Papua New Guinea. Cannibalism was still practiced in the region at the time but they admired his strength and intelligence. Married a local princess and when her father died he became king. He set up a successful plantation and treated his workers well. His wife died, he went to Europe to find a new wife, returned with her but the plantation was ruined while he was away. Died in Australia.
