Snow in the forest

Also known as my winter office. It’s where I work. But don’t worry tree huggers, I’m generally only cutting dead, dying, or diseased trees to make the forest healthier and decrease forest fire danger. Where I live the dominant tree species (white spruce) is dying off because of climate change so there’s a lot of “clearing out the old to make way for the new”. The ascendant species are red spruce, maple, and birch. All of which are prettier and more useful than the scraggly, stinky white spruce.
