While all those five lofty ideals have always had big room for improvement in the US, we have peaked now. Today starts what is going to be a quick slide downhill into a fascist-like dystopian hell that will not be kind to anyone who is not white/male/straight. I would love, love, love to be wrong about my gloomy prediction but I’m afraid it’s not too far off the mark. In the coming years remember to be kind one another, we will all be struggling. I’m not giving up on America but if it were to come to the point they go beyond stripping me of my civil rights as a gay man (gay marriage is set to be struck down this spring) and they start rounding gays up I am so out of here.
