While I am a lumberjack for half the year (November – April), the other half of the year I do garden projects (design, installation, & lots of maintenance) for wealthy people from Boston/NYC/DC & California (coastal elite!) who have summer homes or estates on the island I live on. I have an exclusive client list and don’t have to advertise or even have a website. I have plenty of work and really don’t care to expand into a larger company, especially since there’s a labour shortage around here. However, if my business was struggling I guess I’d have to consider offering nude work services so a boy could earn a buck. Above photo is not me.

I was raised, both by my parents and by being taught in school, that America is a melting pot of people from around the world. And that we are equal as human beings. Immigration and (at least on paper and only more recently) equality were two essential things for creating this prosperous nation. Over the next few years the Trump administration will be attacking and dismantling both immigration and equality. America will suffer, especially when coupled with the idiotic trade wars and tariffs. It will be like watching the American economy slowly commit suicide. It’s all so stupid, cruel, self-inflicted, and unnecessary.
