Once the fastest cruise ship in the world , working the US to Europe route. It was left to rot in Philadelphia for decades and then recently I read it was sold for scrap or towed out to sea to make an artificial reef. I’ve never been on a cruise but I did once have an on board lunch and tour of the ship with the captain of the QEII while it was in port, an older friend’s husband was an officer on the bridge.
