Hi Matthew It’s bob jennings from toronto. I’m going to be going to the States from now until the end of July and am terrified about crossing the car border crossing, re: having anything on my phone or email. Is it possible that we, for three months, “unsubscribe” me? And how would I get to see your excellent photos from August onward?
Bob, Nice to hear from you again. I think the easiest thing for you to do is to unsubscribe to this site’s emails yourself and then resubscribe when you get back to Canada. In the column on the right is the button to subscribe/unsubscribe. All I can do at this end would be to block you from the site and that, which I’ve only reserved for a few racist or homophobic visitors, would preclude you from visiting the site whenever you like while in the US. The reports I saw about people having their phones/email checked upon arrival in the US and running into problems with Immigration said that they were looking for anti-Trump material not gay or other minority material. Small comfort, I know. I think you said you were going to be in Maine this summer? I’ll send an email soon and maybe I can figure out a time to meet you guys. I’m busy at work 7 days a week for the next 8 weeks though, garden season is peaking out. Don’t worry about MAGA weirdos when you guys are in the US, you won’t hardly see it on the liberal coast of Maine! – Matthew
