It’s funny… when I was a kid I would not go into the ocean because I was afraid of things like sharks eating me – but swam in ponds and rivers. As an adult I have no fear of swimming in the ocean but refuse to swim in ponds and rivers because of a fear of eels/snapping turtles/leeches.
