Once the fastest ship across the Atlantic, last I heard it was rotting away at a dock in/near Philadelphia. This looks like a photo of what it would be like if it were restored and made operational again.

Located on the California side of Lake Tahoe, and also the site of an unfortunate chapter in American pioneering history. A group of pioneers (The Donner Party) trying to get to the Pacific in the 1840s got stuck and lost in the mountains there one winter and, long story short: cannibalism.  For more info: www.history.com/topics/donner-party
