Here’s a picture of one part of the 2000 mile US-Mexican border, the border being down in the canyons around the river (the Rio Grande). Where would you put a god damn wall? In the river? On the shifting banks of the river? Halfway up the canyon wall (and how would you build that)? At the top of the canyon on the US side (and give Mexico land & the river)? At the top of the Mexican side of the canyon (and seize land from a foreign nation)? Seems to me you could patrol the border with drones and more border patrol agents a hell of lot cheaper and more realistically than an expensive wall that won’t even keep people out and for many, many miles would be physically impossible to build – all to put an end to a non-existent emergency based on the racist fears of the 30-40% of Americans who still believe Trump’s insanity.
