My mother and Matt Damon’s mother worked together in the same fairly small office/department for years. The funny thing is that my mother, not exactly tuned in to popular culture, had no idea how big a star Matt Damon was/is. Apparently his mother found this quite refreshing to work with someone who wasn’t always gushing about her son.
