Poster produced for the London Midland & Scottish Railway featuring a knight on horseback carrying a flag. Artwork by Maurice Greiffenhagen (1862-1931). The artist was Danish by descent and educated at University College School and the Royal Academy Schools. He also taught at the Glasgow School of Art and exhibited in Munich, Dresden and Ghent. Greiffenhagen was one of the Academicians commissioned by the LMS in 1924.
