Actually there is surprisingly little appearance of Autumn here yet but because we’ve been having a fairly severe drought for the last 9 months everything is just sort of desiccating and dying, Fall colours and temperatures should start next week.

I recall reading about this picture – something about the man on the right being a famous/infamous high priced escort/lover in the southern US in the 1800s.
