Dizzy Gillepsie
I think I mentioned this before but it was a very memorable evening. Saw Dizzy playing at a jazz club in Montreal in the 1980s. There was a blizzard that night and very few people ventured out so, in the end, he played for just two tables of people. We were moved right up to the tables in front of the stage and it was very intimate. Incredible talent.
