A great performance, for which she won the Best Actress Oscar. But… there were 2 other great performances nominated that year more deserving of the Oscar – Bette Davis in “All About Eve” and Gloria Swanson in “Sunset Boulevard”. I would have given it to Bette but apparently the Academy didn’t have my “UNYIELDING good taste”.
