She is wearing Bob Mackie in both pictures. Cher has never had cheekbone implants only been pulled way to tight and then botox…Yikes. Now the lips are a whole other matter. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.
With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation?
My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d definitely appreciate it.
Interesting subject… on which I’m no expert. I have only posted a few of my own photos on my blog and did so knowing anyone can (and do) download them. If someone were to claim that they took a pic I actually took or turned around and made $ from it I’d be pissed. Not sure what I could do about it though. But in the end I guess I like to give a little bit back to the vast internet and add my original photos. One of the most downloaded images from my blog is in fact one of my photos and I’m flattered. I have never tried to track down (via Google?) where else my original images end up. Your case sounds different – you post your writing and then others copy it and don’t give you credit. I’d ask them for credit (your name) at least. Again, it all comes down to: is someone claiming it to be theirs and/or if they’re making $ of your work without sharing the profits. As far as suggestions the only thing I can say is that maybe make it explicit that you allow your writing to be re-posted elsewhere WITH PERMISSION and with credit.
I get the images I post from all over the ‘net and many are not copyrighted or even have an artist’s name attached. I give credit where I know the name of the creator. I would give credit to the many, many sites I find images on but my feeling is that they just got them from somewhere else as well so they have no claim to them. I would never claim something someone else created as mine and I don’t make any $ from this site. I also have never plagarized anyone’s writing and try to mix up the images so I’m not “ripping off” any one site. Anyway, I don’t think (I hope!) you were accusing me of plagarism or copyright infringement. All I can say is follow up where your writing ends up and ask for credit. I thought about it before putting any of my own photos but in the end I knew the risk… and don’t post a lot of my pix.
