We’re not supposed to get that much rain or catastrophic winds here where I live but we’re still in the storm zone and I expect some trees to go down and the Atlantic Ocean waves are supposed to top out at 7 meters/21 feet in addition to a  storm surge of 1 meter/3 feet. I live on an island and have an awesome ocean view but I don’t live right on the water, actually I’m way up on a hill, so I’m not worried about my home. Sure is breezy here now though and the storm isn’t supposed to be at it’s peak here for another 6 – 15 hours.
