Very neat, Matthew! And no throw-down to name them all?
From top left: Greta Garbo, Miriam Davies, Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Ramon Novarro (YES!), John Gilbert, Marie Dressler, Robert Montgomery, Alfred Lunt, Lynn Fontanne, Wallace Beery, Lawrence Tibbett, Jackie Cooper, Buster Keaton, William Haines.
Two gay guys who were about to be pretty much blacklisted from the movies, three bi/gay gals–one of whom often referred to herself as a ‘strange boy’, a married couple who were huge on the stage but made next to no movies, two women married to or living with media moguls… a fabulous studio at an incredible time.
Of the 15, I suspect the general public today would recognize the names of 3 (Garbo, Crawford, Keaton), and none of the photos. Of course, movie buffs and Turner subscribers would do much better.

Boy I love this stuff!
Wow! Great job at naming them all, Dan!
I only recognized Greta, Norma, Joan, John, Marie, Robert, Jackie, and Buster.
I thought Norma Shearer was also a star everyone to this day remembered too, along with the 3 “big names” you mentioned, but maybe that’s just me.
