  1. Photo one looks like Universal horror, but I’m not sure. There is a similar pose in 1953’s “House of Wax,” but this looks older. Ditto 1941’s “Dr. Jekyl and. Mr. Hyde.” Photo number two is from “Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” A stuntman, probably Eddie Parker, playing Boris Karloff playing Mr. Hyde. The young lady is probably Helen Westcott. Photo three is of Lon Chaney Jr. as Count Alucard (say it backwards) in “Son of Dracula.” He is menacing the lovely Louise Allbritton. I’m stumped on number four, but she looks like she is from 1950’s sci-fi.

    • The only one I recognized was Lon Chaney. Impressed with your knowledge! Old horror movies aren’t my forte or cup o’ tea but I watched lots of them on TV when I was a kid in the “Creature Double Feature” after the Saturday morning cartoons.

  2. I love the old horror movies. They are a big part of my life. Unfortunately, horror today is so gruesome and violent I can’t begin to watch it. But I find Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon incredibly beautiful.

  3. 1st Damsel is Anne Nagel fearing Bela Lugosi in “Black Friday”
Last Damsel is lovely favorite Gail Russell fearing “The Unseen”

    • You do seem to know your starlets and damsels! Is this from knowledge and experience or from doing google image searches? Either way, thanks for the identifications!
