Their uniform designer deserves a medal. He certainly has earned my appreciation. I don’t know what these men do or what they stand for, but I’m thinking very seriously of enlisting.
Alas, the Spanish Legion fought on the side of the fascists in the Spanish Civil War and then, I believe, were loyal to Franco during his many decades of dictatorship. But since then Spain has been a democracy and I think the Spanish Foreign Legion is now just used for peacekeeping duties or something.
Anyway, I’m totally just in it for the men bulging out of their uniforms. I hate fascism.
