One place I saw this picture said that the man on the right is young Spencer Tracy and another place I saw it said the man on the right is the great gay author Christopher Isherwood. So who is it? And who is the handsome man on the left?

Wow, you are right, Daniel. George was wonderful in “Sunrise.” Spence was wonderful in lots o’ things, of course.

I have never even heard of George O’Brien…
He was mostly in Westerns I think. The movie I remember him from is She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.
That would explain it. Though I love cowboys I’m not really into western themed movies. Except “Red River”, as that features a young and very handsome Montgomery Clift.
