Her name was Dovima, just in case you didn’t already know.
She is considered to be the first Supermodel.
She had a cameo appearance in the movie Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire.

Thanks for visiting the blog, glad you like it! There are other pictures of Dovima scattered around this blog where I did identify her correctly and as a supermodel, though I only learned about her a while ago. More into old movie star photos than old fashion/model photos.

Haines and Joan Crawford were the Best of Friends.
I discovered a book about Haines in a used book store entitled,
“Wisecracker: The Life and Times of William Haines, Hollywood’s First Openly Gay Star.”
It’s a great book , which I highly recommend.
Also there is, Class Act: William Haines Legendary Hollywood Decorator , which focuses mainly on his career as an Interior Designer for the elite with commissions in Hollywood, Palm Springs ( Sunnylands), London (Winfield House), and the White House for the Reagan’s.
