A wee bit before my time, but I do remember going to Studio 54 several times in like the mid-80s before it closed. My brother was a bartender there for a while, wearing silver short-shorts. It was definitely past its hey-day by the time I went but at least I got to have the “thrill” of going to the front of the long line outside and casually say “I’m on the list” and be ushered in instantly. Nice dance floor!
