Cracked me up big time. Actually I am gay and I’m French Canadian-American. And it might be one of the reasons I’m getting a little itchy for hockey season.

It is estimated that 40% of the population of Syria has fled the country in the last 4 years, rather than stay in their very destroyed country and also face being killed by Assad or ISIS. Aside from perhaps Palestine and Libya, this is the only time I can remember a whole nation completely collapse. Sad to see how few countries are willing to help out the refugees. I hope that changes soon.
