He was pretty amazing fellow – he got into body building at a young age and became a silent movie star early on. What a bod he had – he looks like Sandow, only much more handsome. Bushman was fantastic in the 1925 Ben Hur at age 42! If you haven’t seen it, it is well worth your time. He was paid a lot during his film career and donated the land for Grauman’s Chinese Theater. He lost everything the in 1929 stock market crash and his film career was pretty much over by then. He did radio and later television.
