  1. This lovely tiara, alas, no longer exists. It was made in 1901 by Boucheron for Mrs. Greville, a wealthy socialite, to wear to the coronation that year. In 1921 she sent it back for a redesign and it became the Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara; when Mrs. Greville died in 1942, she bequeathed it to Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen mother). She in turn sent it to Cartier in 1953 to make her own changes, and it passed to Q.E. II in 2002 upon her death. It has lately been loaned several times to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

    • Thanks for the information! I guess I did know that it had been altered over the years but I did not realize that they were significant alterations.
