Actually I took the photos from my front lawn – there’s a lot more ocean view from inside the house (it’s a tall house) but all the windows are sealed up for winter so I went outside to take the photo. Pretty nice, eh?
No, I grew up in Boston & Montréal then I moved to Maine. My family has always had a summer home here on this island down by the water and then I built my own home up on a hill way behind that. Every place I’ve lived has its pros and cons and this island is no different. Heaven and hell. But, yes, the stunning beauty of the island is one of the main reasons I stay here. That and I own my own home and I have a successful-enough business here that would be hard to duplicate elsewhere.
