I wasn’t able to post yesterday because I was so busy at work morning/noon/night. What a whacky – and I must repeat – whacky- day it was. Went over to the US mainland to start doing a bunch of plant shopping for my garden clients. “Buying $10,000 worth of plants with other people’s money sounds like fun” many people say to me. And yet in reality it is actually an epic journey of logistical nightmares, a lot of driving, boats, and moving plants many times. All while dealing with constant curveballs thrown at me by both humanity & mother nature. That was exhausting. And it was just the tip of the iceberg.

Coincidentally I did plant purchase Wednesday for my garden – didn’t spend quite a much –
I’ve only just begun the plant shopping blitz. Looking like I am going to be renting a truck and taking my assistant on a road trip up and down the coast till it’s filled up. Then putting them on a boat, then taking them off a boat, then trucking them to the garden they are going into or to my plant holding area before going to gardens. It’s a lot of work. But I’ve got all the soils everywhere pretty much prepared so all I have to do now is get plants & put them in. Slam planting I call it.
