  1. OMG – is this a typical American urban scene? In England no one would get planning permission for such a ghastly confection of ugliness!

    • Yes, this is a common sight (except in the core of major cities) all over America. Planning laws vary from state to state and town to town so some would not allow this sub-urban blight. Most do. This picture could be in California or Maine or Alaska… It’s what 21st century capitalism looks like in a free market economy with few planning laws and subsidized gasoline for vehicles.

    • Yeah, I’m way more of a natural guy to be able to live around this kind of development. I do live alone but I’m not a hermit. I do have friends and people I’m friendly with both in real life and online.
