Basketball needs size categories similar to wrestling’s weight categories. I loved it as a boy, then everyone – but me – had a growth spurt. Suddenly (and apparently permanently) it was no longer a game for me.
As a person on the low end of average height I feel your pain. There are a lot of other sports though where height is not so much of a factor (some of the best hockey players are short for example).
