Statue, Florence

I took these pictures a couple of years ago in Florence. I don’t remember who it is or who made it but it kind of ties in with the (Penguin Classics) Greek mythology book I’m reading now. Ah, the classics. I hope it’s Zeus. He’s totally awesome.

UPDATE: Turns out he’s Poseidon/Neptune. But he’s totally awesome too.

usually begins with a single shot.” I remember reading that in college back in Montreal as a political science major. I forgot who said it, or if that’s even a correct quote. But that’s how I remembered it.
